FAQs
Below are the most frequently asked questions we get asked. If you have a question that was not answered here, please email Avery at averylanelabradoodles@gmail.com and she will get back to you as soon as she can. We believe in providing our puppies with the best possible start in life, which includes proper nutrition, veterinary care and lots of socialization. Our goal is to produce well-rounded, confident puppies who will make great companions for their forever families. We give each puppy we raise a loving, stimulating, and engaging environment to thrive. The well-being and health of our puppies is our main priority. Our Australian Labradoodles are raised on high quality biologically appropriate food, are minimally vaccinated and are microchipped.
HOW MUCH DOES MY PUPPY COST?
All Avery Lane Labradoodle puppies are sold through a contractual sale. The cost of a pet Australian Labradoodle puppy is $3,500 plus 8.25% tax, a total of $3,788.75. This contract requires a spay or neuter agreement of the puppy.
Our pet puppy price is the same regardless of size, color or gender. To purchase a puppy, you must begin by completing an application. Once your application has been accepted, we will contact you, and a $500 non-refundable reservation fee will be requested in order to hold a spot on the litter of your choice. You can also elect to be on a “waiting list” for a fully reserved litter to be offered a puppy if one comes available. This reservation fee will be applied to the cost of your puppy. Before the puppies in your litter are six-weeks old, the remaining balance of $3,288.75 is due. Payment can be made by cash or check. Checks must be cleared by the time the puppies are six-weeks old.
When upcoming litters are announced, reservation lists fill fast and available spaces cannot be reserved until the fee has been received. We cannot hold spaces without a reservation.
HOW DO I RESERVE A SPOT FOR A PUPPY?
An application is required to purchase an Avery Lane Labradoodle puppy. Once your Puppy Application is accepted, you will be contacted within 48 hours to discuss how to reserve your spot. The application helps us to get to know you, your lifestyle, and your preferences so we can help you find the right litter for you and your family. We communicate one-on-one with each family to acquire additional information.
WHAT DO I GET WITH AN AVERY LANE PUPPY?
Before your puppy comes home with you, they will have had their first veterinary check-up, first round of shots, appropriate deworming, microchipped, and stuffed toy with mom & littermates scents. Avery Lane Labradoodles also come with ALAA and WALA registration documents (after proof of spay/neuter agreement being fulfilled) and a 2 year genetic health guarantee. Every puppy from Avery Lane Labradoodles comes with a binding contract with a spay/neuter agreement. We do everything to ensure that our puppies are a great fit in their forever homes and will take our puppies back at any point in their lives. If at any point you need to relinquish your dog, you will relinquish him/her back to us.
HOW IS MY PUPPY RAISED?
We take the time to set our puppies up to become good members of society by teaching them what it means to learn. We follow the Puppy Culture method by practicing things such as manding, crate training, potty-training and problem-solving. When the puppy is around 6 to 7 weeks of age we perform the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test and use this information to best assign puppies to their new forever families.
HOW IS MY PUPPY SELECTED?
Here at Avery Lane Labradoodles we have a very careful and in-depth process that is used to determine the best-suited puppy for each family/couple/individual. We do not allow people to “pick-out” their puppy. We believe that a personality and lifestyle match are more important than matching solely based on looks. For this reason, you can select which litter you would like to put a reservation deposit on and final puppy placements are based on temperament, personality, and lifestyle. We do our best to keep your physical preferences in mind during the placement process but ultimately, we cannot guarantee what nature gives us. We accept 5-6 reservations per litter and Avery Lane Labradoodles reserves the right to retain breeding quality puppies for our program from any of our planned litters. Breeding puppies are placed in local Guardian homes only.
HOW AND WHEN CAN I PICK UP MY PUPPY?
Avery Lane Labradoodle puppies have been purchased throughout the US as well as internationally. We work with everyone in being as flexible as possible in getting your puppy to you in the least stressful environment possible. Our priority is on the well-being of the puppy to ensure they maintain their adaptability, confidence and easygoing nature that they have developed in their first 8 weeks of life. Our puppies go home at 8 weeks of age. We will not ship our puppies. You can make arrangements to pick up your puppy at our home on “Puppy Pickup Day” or we offer a puppy nanny service to deliver the puppy to the airport of your choice.
